December Daily {14}

Hi Friends

The days seem to be flying by
But I'm taking time to stop and find Joy in each one

This morning was church and the grocery store
Followed by a bit of Christmas shopping
And then a long phone call to my mom

I haven't wrapped a thing today
But there's always tomorrow...

I have some of my Christmas blankets/quilts
Hanging on my decorative ladder in my bedroom
As well as a couple in the LR that I use in the evenings

Tonight I thought I'd share a couple nativities
That I keep out all year long
The above was a gift from my employer
She brought it back from Jerusalem last year
It is a treasured piece that I enjoy seeing daily

This was also gifted to me from my BFF
It's cut from one piece of word and fits together like a puzzle
This is a piece I can allow my grand girlies to play with
Because it is not a fragile as many others I have

I keep the two of these up above my TV
On the entertainment center
So they are daily reminders of what my life is really about

This is another piece that hangs in my hallway
Where I keep my family photos
I cannot recall how long I've had this piece
But it's been many, many years
It's made of Olive wood from Israel as well
Another treasured piece

My jewelry piece today
Was a sweet silver angel pin
I know it's a bit hard to see because of top I wore it with
But it was actually the perfect piece to wear today
As I learned that a very dear friend
Gained his angel wings this morning
And met Jesus face to face

I pray you are enjoying your December
That your Christmas preparations are falling into place
And that you are taking time to stop
And reflect on what Christmas is all about

Blessings to All ~~~

  2. Hi Cindy, Glad I stopped by this morning~I love your ladder with throws and quilt on it. I also love your beautiful Nativity scenes; I have many on my tree. I've been under the weather this last weekend, so didn't get a chance to come by. I'm still not up to par, but hoping that the antibiotics kick the infections to the curb.
    Sending you hugs and love.
