BIRCHBOX

Have you heard of Birchbox?
I was so excited to receive my first box yesterday!

I first heard of Birchbox a few months ago
While hanging at my mom's house
She had a couple of cute boxes filled
With all sorts of goodies
I asked her what they were
That's when she told me about a gift she received
From one of my nieces

She received one box per month filled with cool samples
And new products
I wanted one but didn't know how to get it
( She didn't offer to give me hers - LOL )

Soon, I saw a link on a friends blog
And VoilĂ ,
I signed up, and am now
enjoying my first box

For only $10 per month
I received a box filled with cool stuff
I'm looking forward to trying each of these products
in the days ahead
They can have up to an 8 week waiting list but I received my invite within 6 days:)
And I received my first box in 2 weeks

I am already looking forward to my next box
Oh, wait, I better use these first!!

P.S. They have Birchbox for men as well!!

FINALLY...An Answer for Mom

For the past four months our family has been collectively holding their breath.  Each of us in our own way, waiting for the results of numerous tests that would lead us to an answer as to the nature of the 2 masses in mom's skull.

After viewing the biopsy slides here in Arizona, the doctors decided to send them off to Johns' Hopkins in Baltimore. Hoping that more of a research based hospital could give us an accurate diagnosis.

Well, the results are in:
No Cancer
No Fungal Tissue
No Infection

We are praising God for those words yet still do not have a definitive answer, yet a wait and see what happens in a few months when she will again undergo a CT Scan with and without contrast.

It is believed that she may have suffered some sort of skull trauma years ago that caused a bleed in the skull itself and that the tissue that shows up on scan is nothing more than old accumulative blood and tissue. They do not believe they will see any sort of change when they repeat the scan in a few months.

So, today, I personally thank you for your prayers, thoughts, comments, and words of encouragement during the past four months.

I believe I will now begin to breathe and maybe even start blogging again.  It is amazing how your body reacts to stresses and you don't even realize it until after the stressor has gone. I slept well last night, woke up refreshed and even felt better this morning.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. Jeremiah 17:14
