{11} {12} {13} December Daily ~ Catching Up

Hi Sweet Friends

It amazes me how quickly the days fly by
Here I am 3 days behind
On my December Daily

We are nearly half way through the month
As well as only 12 days from Christmas

I've been a busy girl

Friday night I went to
Foothills Baptist Church
Where my niece and her family attend
They held their annual
Living Christmas Tree
My niece sang in the tree choir
Her hubby worked lights/sound
And all three of their children sang
With the children's choir

Their oldest daughter Gabby
Had a solo
She did a fabulous job
And has a beautiful voice at only 10

I love that the story of Christmas
Is Always told and the highlight of the show
This sweet baby had recently had surgery
However, you would not have known
Given it's beautiful temperament

Saturday took me to my mom's for the morning
I worked on her feet
Since breaking her hip several years ago
It's difficult for her to take care of her feet
So, I spent 3 hours on the floor tending to them

After a little break
I got my little snowman buddy
So we could meet up with a couple friends
To take in a Wonderful night of dance

We went to the Chandler Center for the Arts
And saw The Spirit of Christmas
Performed by Christian Dance Company
3 joy-filled hours of beautiful dancing
And wonderful music
As well as great fellowship

Although I am supposed to go back to FBC tonight
It is 5PM and I have yet to get out of my pajamas.
I'm feeling a bit under the weather and have a busy week ahead
SO, I think I'm staying home tonight

I have been working around the house
To clean, do laundry, decorate, and wrap some gifts

I am also enjoying my tiny Christmas tree
And the other decorations around the house

And because I am nothing if not honest
My desk is A Mess
And I don't really care
It is driving my nuts

So, that's where I'm heading now
Tackle the mail and bills
And maybe a quiet night of football and NyQuil

I'm hoping to stay caught up with my December Daily
Between now and Christmas

May you be blessed This Season

  1. Love all your activities! Blessings on your week!

  2. Always seems the countdown to Christmas brings on hectic days, 5PM enjoying your tree and those PJ's seems like a deserved gift of relaxation.

  3. I have been under the weather as well, the doctor finally giving me the Z pak which is amazing antibiotics. I had no energy for a week and so much to do! I hope you are on your feet soon. You have been a very active young lady!

  4. Hi Cindy,
Looks like some very busy and fun activities. Hope you start to feel better. Staying in your jammies all day is great!!! Have a great start to the new week ahead.

  5. Hi Cindy, you are a busy girl but so glad you had a fun few nights out too. The singing and dancing sounds like wonderful Christmas activities. Sure hope you start to feel better. Great to stay in your jammies all day. I love it!! Relax when you can and just enjoy your lovely decor. Sweet little snowman buddy on your shoulder!!
    Have a great week!Blessings xo

  6. I hope you are soon feeling much better dear Cindy. I had a sick time last night, but am feeling much better this morning.

I set up my Nativity and heavenly host last night. So, I'm really done with decorating.

Love, hugs and prayers for you dear one ~ FlowerLady

  7. Hi Cindy, advents like the one you went for your niece is what really brings in the Christmas Spirit. Just enjoy it all, the season ends way to soon. Have a wonderful day! xx Jo

  8. Sounds like you are enjoying lots of Holiday cheer. I'm so new to the city that I am yet to find friends to do things with so I'm enjoying my family like crazy. Because mama was a diabetic I took care of her feet too. As crazy as it sound, I love doing feet. I used to massage the feet of the nursing home residents with lotion. Party Harty and rest sweetly when you can.

  9. It's good that you are getting out and doing some Christmas fun and blessing your mom's feet! I gave my BFF foot massages when she was dying and she loved it! No one else did this for her, so we were both blessed! There was a singing Christmas tree in my area at a local church. They did a concert for years and now have stopped! It was awesome!

  10. How wonderful to be able to enjoy seeing your family perform in a Christmas celebration. That's one of my favourite things of the season. Especially with children in it. Last year I did "25 days of Christmas". A blog post each day till Christmas. It was harder than I thought it would be. Christmas is such a busy time for us ladies with everything we have to do. Thank you for taking the time to leave sweet comments. I really do appreciate it. Have the most wonderful Christmas!! Blessings, Diane

  11. The days do fly by fast! It sounds like you enjoyed yourself at the art center. Hope your feeling better and a small tree is the way to go!

Hi Friend, I read and cherish every single comment you leave! You bring Joy to my heart! Blessings, Cindy
