Pocket Letter Pal

Hi Sweet Friends,

Thank you for sticking with me
Even when I forget to blog for a week

I actually took a MUCH needed weekend away
Some of our office staff went to the mountains
For the weekend and enjoyed
The beauty of a friends cabin
And the beauty of Heber, AZ
Cooler air and sweet friends
Was a needed respite for this girlie

Now for a fun post
I was recently allowed to join with some blog friends
Participating in Pocket Letter Pals
Thank you to Garage Sale Gal

To be honest friends
Before about six weeks ago, I had never heard of this
But, I'm so happy I found out about it
And got the opportunity to join in

I received a super fun package in the mail

Sweetly wrapped
And decorated for fall

Info about Pocket Letter Pals
Can be found HERE

The theme of the swap that I joined was:
So, I got out all of my fall themed papers, stickers,
Cards, ribbons, buttons, etc
And started crafting

I will be honest
My first attempt is Very Novice
And I have LOTS to learn

I had SO much fun putting it together
That I can hardly wait until
I have the opportunity to join again

Now, as you can see from the above photo
My Pal is a Pro and sent me a beautiful array of goodies

I have had so much fun
Going through each and every pocket
Looking at all of the goodies
It's like a gift in each pocket

Check around with your blog friends
See what others blogs are hosting pocket letter pals
And, if you enjoy paper crafting
This would be a super fun experience

Have you ever participated in

  1. It is nice to receive a fun gift and even better when it has a little mystery inside.

  2. Hi Cindy, looks like you really got some really fun surprises! It brings a new meaning to pen pals! Have a lovely day.Hugs, Jo

  3. Hi Cindy, What fun this swap is and you created an awesome pocket surprise as well as receive from your pal. Looks like such fun goodies in each pocket!! I read of this on Deb's blog but could not participate this time. She is such a dear and so creative. I've been too busy with my shoppe this time of year. The holiday creating has begun. Now I just hope the temps cool down.

So glad you had a weekend getaway to rest and enjoy time with friends. It always refreshes to take the time to change scenery.
Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment. Hope you have a great week and blessings to you.
    Hugs, cm

  4. How fun is this Cindy. You did great. Have a great week.

  5. How cute! I've never heard of a paper pocket swap party before. I can see all of the detail that went into this.

  6. Oh, Cindy, I am so happy that you got to get away, and Heber is just charming.....not to mention cooler and greener!

The pocket letters sound like so much fun.....and look at you crafting away in your newly organized craft room! I continue to do little projects, and it is truly great therapy!

Hope you are having a great week!

  7. What a wonderful idea and swap. I think you are too hard on yourself-your creative touch was perfect. If I didn't have so much on my plate right now, I'd think about joining. Thanks for sharing!
    Lots of love,

  8. Cindy, Those are the cutest things. I love how much creativity goes into them. Hope you are loving yours. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  9. I can hardy wait for the one you made for me to come in the mail! I am certainly no pro!!! They are fun to make! Thanks for swapping with me.

  10. I would love to start doing these, have plenty of stuff, just haven't bought the pockets.

  11. Wow!! Looks like it was a fun swap!! Thanks so much for dropping by! I really do love Country Sampler and all the beautiful deep rich colors that they showcase in their rooms....

  12. What fun! I've stopped joining in the swaps. Maybe that's why I've lost some followers. I like to put my heart into it and the last time with the mug and tea cup exchange, I felt like I didn't do that. I 've been so careless with my blogging since the move. I'm not making excuses and maybe I'll get better but the Mr. is having a hard time with his job and I feel like I need to be with him. Thanks Cindy for sticking with me.

  13. Cindy, what a cute idea. I think you put together a very pretty package. When I get all my other projects done maybe I'll check into it..Happy Thursday..Judy

  14. Cindy, I saw this on someone else's blog and loved it! I am hoping to join one sometime. Love it! I saw Heber, and was going to say, "WHAT, you were in UT?" Yes, we have a Heber. Then I saw AZ. lol!

Hi Friend, I read and cherish every single comment you leave! You bring Joy to my heart! Blessings, Cindy
