FALL: Here I Come

 Hi Sweet Friends,

Happy September to you all

It is a tad bit cooler today
It only made it to about 99 and it is cloudy and windy
We have endured two dust storms today
There is a chance of a thunderstorm tonight
We'll take any rain we can get

Although fall is not really in the air here
I'm hoping to help it along by getting
Some of my fall decorations out

I must have been in a hurry when I put everything away last year
Because my shelves look a mess

As soon as the weather cools off a bit more
I am going to have to redo my garage shelving units
And get more organized

It seems I have way more fall decor than I realized
But I am excited to get it all out
And start putting together some fun vignettes

I'm hoping to find my light/neutral items
They don't seem to be showing themselves so far

I found these four plates at a thrift store on Tuesday
They only cost me $3 - score for me
If I ever receive my DecorSteals items
I will be using it with the small desert plates
(Have you ordered from DecorSteals?
Does it take a long time to get your order?)

I am loving getting out my fall dolls
At least I put these away nicely

But then it looks as though I just put a few other items
In large fall bowls and stuffed them on a shelf

I am getting ready - to get ready for fall

If you missed my fall Pocket Letter Post
Go check it out here - so much fun!!

Have you started your fall decorating yet
Please do share!

Blessings to All

  1. Hi Cindy,
I actually got out my bins of fall just could not dig that out just yet. Tooo hot here still. Maybe in a few weeks when it cools down. You know I am a summer girl but I am looking forward to fall this year.
    Have a great holiday.

  2. Isn't decorating for Fall just so much fun? It's my favorite season, even though we do have to do a lot of pretending here in the desert! I'm hoping to work on a modified version of Fall, and The Man said he would get everything out of the overhead garage storage.....I'm even skipping the gym today so I have more energy to play (shame on me). I especially love decorating for this season, because I can enjoy it for a full 2 months or more!

Okay, Cindy, I'm curious.....I saw your IG post about buying that truck -- snoops need an!

  3. Hey there Cindy, yes, I've started my fall decorating. I got tired of looking at my July 4th decor LOL! I've been a bit behind this summer. Hope all is well with you and I look forward to catching up. I just requested to follow you on Instagram. Have a great weekend!

  4. Hi Cindy, yes, I have fallen into the decorating and had so much fun. I got on a decorating binge earlier this week and it was so much fun to take out all the goodies and place them around.
Looks like you have some beautiful treasures ready to be enjoyed. Love those pretty fall plates you found. Your doll is too cute.
Have fun and a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Blessings, cm

  5. Hi Cindy, I have gotten out all of my Fall boxes and am doing some updating. After storing things for years they really start to look a mess! Looking forward to seeing your Fall vignettes! Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Jo

  6. I can't wait to see your vignettes. I have very little Fall decor. What I have you've already seen. I must make a trip to the Dollar Tree. Yes, that's my speed. Thanks for your encouraging words yesterday. They mean a lot. I know that God uses what you've been through to touch others.

  7. I am fighting fall, summer has gone by too fast and I don't want to give it up! It's been in the high nineties, all our fall is tucked in attics that there's no way I'm going in to until it cools off. I have ordered from Decor Steal, and it does take a while. I think they have nice stuff....but....the last think I ordered, globes are huge and don't work. I never realized they do NOT take things back. So I'm stuff with two urns I can't use and cost $35. So from now on I'm hesitate to order anything. Looking forward to some vignettes.

Hi Friend, I read and cherish every single comment you leave! You bring Joy to my heart! Blessings, Cindy
