In the midst of all the changes life has held for me...
After a CT scan last Thursday my mom was diagnosed with moderately severe emphysema and several nodules were found in her lungs as well as some scattered calcifications.
On Tuesday 02/08 she will go in for a PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography).
If you have any background in medicine you know that PET scans are used to confirm cancer.
Friends, I only have energy and words to ask for Prayer!!
If ever I needed to see a miracle, it is now!!

ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by to check on you, and see how you're doing. Sounds like you're struggling, like I am. So thankful you had a sweet vision at church of Mark in front of the Lord. My Sunday wasn't as good.
As I sat in our usual spot, alone, I must have looked truly pitiful because a woman I don't know well came and sat with me after the service started. She said she couldn't bear to see me sitting there by myself. When she put her arm around my shoulder, I leaned into her, clinging and sobbing for what must have been five minutes. My pain that day was so great.
I want nothing more than for the Lord to take me so I can be with Him and James, but I know my time will come on His terms, not mine.
