Best Find

 Hi Friends,

I want to say thank you to everybody
Who stopped by the blog this past week
And left such fun and encouraging comments
On my Creative Space Post
It did my heart a world of good

This time of year is the 'off' season for
Thrifting and junkin' in the Phoenix area
It is just too HOT for garage sales
Or spending time running from shop to shop

However, once in awhile I stop by
One of our local thrift stores for a quick looksy

Last week I found the cutest Christmas Quilt
For only $2.99

It's lap size
4 ft by 3 ft
In Great shape
Perfect for a small table or the back of a chair
Who could pass up a deal like that

So, I brought it to it's new home
I've laundered it and have it ready to store
Until the Holiday rolls around
Which, BTW
Is Not very far away

Where does the time go??

Thanks for stopping by
Have you found any good treasures lately?
Do Share :)

Blessings to All

  2. Dear Cindy, love your find, but girl in no way am I thinking about Christmas. I will say the thought of a slower season(fall) is appealing. However, our weather has been so wacky that I'm ready for sunshine to
    last.
    Have a great Thursday!

  4. I have seen quite a few quilts for sale at a thrift store here in Oregon nearby, but often they need a lot of TLC to make them usable. I was lucky a few times though!

  6. Good Morning Cindy, What a great find in the Christmas quilt. Love it and the price fantastic. Yes, the holidays are here for me in the planning for my shoppe. However it's hard to concentrate on painting a snowman when it's 100 degrees outside. LOL
    Have a blessed day. cm

  7. Absolutely, I know is is WAY TOO HOT to go out looking for treasures during the summer in The Valley of the Sun. I won't be traveling to Scottsdale/Phoenix until Winter when it is more comfortable. Up here in Flagstaff, when it gets hot after clouds and breezes, I just sit during the hot weather. I grew up in Phoenix and lived in Scottsdale for years before moving to Prescott. Now I live in Flagstaff and love it. So, please tell me which thrift store you went to for the lovely Christmas lap quilt. I love it.

  8. Cindy, I like your little quilt find. I love a place called treasure mart in a town north of us...they do not have AC ...so it would be torture to go there at this time. LOL. Hope all is well with you and your family. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
