Perspective

Hello Sweet Friends

It seems the days fly by faster
Than I am able to keep up
The past week has been stress~filled
To Say The Least

In fact
Since September 21, 2015
I have lived an overwhelmed and emotional
Roller Coaster of a Life

I really want NEED to get off this ride
But it doesn't seem to stop
Long enough for me to jump off
And I'm feeling the pressure
I continue to covet your prayers

However
Today, as I was watching my youngest little K play
I was able to glean a bit of perspective

This sweet little Miss K~Baby
Had every single toy out of the toy box
She was enjoying the most wonderful play time
No electronics, only her imagination

What looked like a messy LR to me
Was a delightful play place for her

  1. Cindy - I love roller coasters but not in real life! I know exactly what you mean - each day you wake up and wonder what is going to happen today and is it going to be good or bad. Remembering you in my prayers.

Grandbabies can just make the world and it's problems just disappear, don't they? I let the girls play where ever they want and they know they have to clean it up when they are finished. I never want a home that is not comfortable for them to play in. So glad you have her to bring joy to your life.

  3. My nephew just gave his 8 year old daughter a cell phone! I think that is way too young! I love seeing children using their creative minds at play! People are so addicted to their phones they never look around.
I will hold you in prayer.

  4. How sweet to see your little one playing and using her imagination. We as adults need to do more of that ourselves. :-)

Dear Cindy ~ May you feel the love, peace, joy and strength of Jesus flowing through and surrounding you each and every day. I want to enjoy 'more sunrises' too.

Have a nice Friday and a lovely weekend ~ Love & hugs ~ FlowerLady

  5. Good morning friend,
As you know I have been on that roller coaster ride and I can say it does eventually stop to let you off. You too will be on a better path and find joy and happiness and less stress. Keep the faith my friend. It will happen. Little Baby K is adorable. I wish I lived closer I would come over and we could play with all the toys!!!! Hugs. You have been there so many times for me while I was on that wild ride and I promise it does stop eventually and you can get off. Have a good Friday and wonderful week end.
    Love ya,
    Kris

  7. Cindy, I do think of you often. I pray for you to be able to find some peace. You have to let our Lord handle the tough stuff...just pray. Cleaning up the toys after the sweet little girl has played could be fun....that would take me back in time for sure. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

  8. Roller coaster rides were only fun when I was younger....now they make me sick! Hope yours ends soon and your life can be more calming...Perspective is a good word since life is really how we see it, you little one seem creative fun and happiness and we see a mess...I like the way they look at things better!

  11. I'm playing catch up on blog reading this morning, Cindy. You were heavily on my mind yesterday and I lifted up prayers for you while cleaning my studio. I echo what Kris wrote above. Stay the course, hold steady and keep the faith. God hasn't forsaken you. The Lord is near. Love you, sweet Cindy. ~ Nancy
