And The Years Pass...

How could you not fall in love with this face?

This was the very first picture

our social worker gave us when we applied for adoption

I WAS IN LOVE...

I just do not know where the years have gone

He...

was a 21 month old

red headed

smiling faced

laughter filled

energizer battery powered

boy

He...

became our foster child

until God chose

to make him ours

through adoption

He...

has kept us on our knees

Blessed us with this angel K~Bug

Blessed us with another angel K~Bel

He...

Donated a Kidney to his daddy

Which has given us

7 extra years together

that we didn't think we would hold

He...

Has blessed us with Her ~~~

And...

Today

We

Celebrate

His Bride's Mom

made this awesome

Turkey Birthday Cake

Carrot cake

with cream cheese frosting

OMGOODNESS~~~~~~

Happy Birthday Son

You have made your momma and daddy Proud
We are rejoicing as we see you
strive to live for Jesus
and seek after His will for your life
as well as the lives or your precious family

Though our knees are calloused and warn
That cannot compare to the
Joy that Fills our Hearts

You are a Blessing to all you meet
And we are Honored to have been chosen
To be YOUR Parents

We Love You!!!

I Really Will...

I really will blog again:)

It has just been a whirlwind during hubby's most recent hospital stay.

He is doing well and I am prayerfully going to bring him home today (tonight) !!!

Loved being in church this morning...it is one thing that I have NOT taken off my schedule during hubby's illness...

I miss my grandbabies...can't wait until life calms down so I can hug those precious angels.

Received an amazing blessing today from dear friend (thank you), can't wait to see how God is going to allow me to use it:)

Off to the hospital now...to collect one of my most prized possessions (well, at least my bestest friend)!!!

Hope to blog tomorrow!

Blessings to all!

So I could follow my packages

I can't wait to find out what country they end up in

Have you packed your box yet?

A Humbling Experience...

Do you enjoy humbling experiences?

I'm not sure I like the process but I do believe that it is a road that at times must be walked.

I am at the practice today, in the quiet of my office with lights off. It is how I enjoy working there is just something about keeping the lights off and how quiet it seems. I get so much more work done.

Anyway, I am working on a personal project, with my employer's permission of course, attempting to fill out grant and assistance applications for free or discounted medications.

Our family will no longer have medical insurance as of December 1 (not unlike so many other families in our country) and hubby's medication list is a total cost of (drum-roll please.............) $4,125.00 per month. Sooooooooo, reality is if we want him to live we have to ask for help.

It is so NOT in my nature to ask for help!! Call it pride but I'd just rather do it all myself. Yet, there are times when God just brings you to your own end so you have no choice but to trust Him. I consider that I've always trusted God but I am a Very good 'helper' Hahaha!!!

So, at the end of myself, I sit here humbly and seek help from 9 manufacturing companies believing that this season of our lives was NO surprise to God and all a part of His sense of humor as He attempts to Mold my Helpfulness:)

Thought Provoking Question???

IF you tell person A something negative about themselves

DOES that give you automatic permission to tell person B, C, D, etc the same thing about person A???

AND then say to person A, well it's nothing I haven't said to your face!!

Proverbs 16:28 "A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends."

Proverbs 18:7 "A fool's mouth is his undoing, and his lips are a snare to his soul."

Proverbs 20:19 "A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much."
