The Olympics are Over

Hi Sweet Friends

Wow, it has been a while since I blogged
I attribute that to a few things
1. The heat of summer has gotten to me
2. I'm still struggling with anemia
3. The Olympics has been going and I have been addicted to watching every moment of inspiration that I can. What a joy to root for each and every person who worked so hard to achieve their dream. True commitment and Work Ethic - LOVE

Since I am back on the ol blog
I thought I'd share a fun and crazy fast 60 hour trip

One of my besties and I got in my car and drove West
All because I wanted to do this:

Put my feet in the Sand

Meet my blog friend Carol from ArtAndSand
And see her cute 'she shed'
Meet her hubby and of course Lulu

Sit by the fire and enjoy a delicious meal

Take photos of the ocean crashing against the jetty

See some really cool things along the shore

As well as a few 'oddities'
I should have brought this rock home - too funny

Enjoy a beautiful sunset

Be Rebellious
Do something the sign says NOT to do
Because I could

Put my feet IN the water

And eat things that should be illegal to eat

60 Hours
Great Friends
The Beach

I do hope to get around to visit blogs in the next few days

Blessings to all!

  1. Oh Cindy, I was THRILLED to see this post on your blog. You have been on my mind for the last week {{smiles}}

I am so glad you were able to get away for a little while and oh my, it looks like you made the most of it :) What a joy to meet your blogging friend...thank you for sharing your memories with us.

    Hugs to you, sweet friend!

  2. I have been reading your blog for a while now and also suffered from anemia a few years ago. After taking supplements and even getting bi-weekly iron shots, my iron levels were still very low. I finally had a doctor offer me an intravenous iron treatment and wow - what a difference that made. I have not been iron deficient for 2 years now. Iario am from Ontario Canada so maybe this treatment is not available where you are ( but its worth every penny if you have to pay for it) Wishing you all the best
    Jill from Ont

  3. Wow, how wonderful that you were able to meet and have a nice time with Carol.

May you soon be feeling more energetic and back to normal.

I would have brought that rock home with bits of blue on it. What a prize!

Have a great day and weekend ~ FlowerLady

  4. Hi Cindy! Welcome back! What a blessing it was for you to have this little get-away! There is nothing like being near the sand and surf to make one feel better and I am soooo looking forward to getting my feet in the water in a couple of weeks. My sis is flying in for Ohio and we are spending a few days (just the two of us) at the beach here in NC! A perfect way to end a long, hot summer, right? Blessings to you!
