December Daily 3 & 4

Hi Friends!
I'm working hard to decorate my home for Christmas
I'm hosting our family for dinner this year
And really want to make them all feel very welcomed
And loved...

This little deer usually sits under a red bottle brush bush
In my back yard but I wanted him to come in
And share in the festivities this year
So, he is warming himself under my tree

I won this cute tea pot a couple years ago
At a business party gift exchange
I love his quirky little face
He adds some cheer to my otherwise boring stove
And he is filled with Candy :)

This awesome box arrived a couple weeks ago
I haven't had much time to explore its contents
I thought I'd add it to my December Daily posts
Since it's kind of a Birthday/Christmas gift to myself

What's inside you might ask???

Well,
Nothing more than this BEAUTIFUL, SOFT,
Smells Like Leather
Camera Bag
I have had my camera for nearly 2 years
But have never spent the money for a bag to keep it in
This year I decided I would splurge and buy something for myself
I Love It!!!
It makes me smile because Mark would be proud
That I actually 'Finally' spent the $$$ to get it

Isn't the color Perfect the Christmas?

What are you doing to bring 'happy' to your heart this Christmas?
I pray you are taking time to reflect on HIM
As you 'do' Christmas

  1. I bought a new Christmas tree last year when they went on sale. I was apprehensive about whether it would be as beautiful as my previous one. IT IS!! i LOVE IT SO MUCH. In fact, I've really enjoyed it this year which is new for me because Christmas is not exactly my favorite holiday. Perhaps I'm turning over a new leaf!!

  2. Well, I treated myself to an Advent read this Christmas as well as a couple of sweaters and infinity scarves from Kohl's. I really needed something new to wear to perk me up. I've been feeling down lately.

Yes, your camera needs a good home! It's beautiful, as are your pictures. Some day, I'm going to explore my love for photography more by learning how to take a good picture.

    Good to hear from you!

  3. Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on 'Just A Beachkat.' You have a charming blog with many creative ideas. I love the snowman teapot. It looks like you are decorating for Christmas....which is my favorite holiday. Me and my daughters also have a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your posts are simple and lovely. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
