Time Won't Stand Still!

Somewhere in America

A precious angel

Went to her first day

of kindergarten

And a Nana cried

Sigh...

  1. I can just imagine the mix of emotions. But it's funny...I got teary-eyed when each my first three kids started school the first time, but when the last one started, my friend and I watched all the kids go in the door while most of the moms cried, but we gave each other a high-five, then went out to breakfast! It was the first time we were each dropping of a child then going home to an empty house! lol!

  2. I am feeling your pain sweet sister! My oldest granddaughter is in first grade (homeschooled) and Eli - her little brother - started prek yesterday at home also.

Time does NOT stand still for them... but it does for us! HA! We still look young!

  4. Hope she had a wonderful day!
I know how you feel about time not standing still. I took my 15 year old last week to get his drivers permit...and I got all teary-eyed too!
