Rejoice My Soul!

I wasn't sure if I would be able to post at all this week about Jennifer Rothschild's book due to 'ISSUES' but I just didn't want to miss a week of posting and BOASTING in God's Greatness!!!!!!!

I must admit that I did not get chapter 5 read this week. I have been nearly debilitated with migraines for the past several weeks. I believe it is due to stress and it has taken everything out of me just to go to work each day. I come home between 4:30 and 6:00 PM just to get in my jammies and sleep until 6:00 AM the next day.

Monday night was so bad that I told God I was just done and that I couldn't take the pressure anymore BUT that I trusted HIM to work things out.

Tuesday morning we received excellent news regarding some money that was owed to us for over a year. Guess what God did - It is now in my checking account!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday afternoon my husband got word that his medical insurance is good through April!!!!!!!

God is so faithful!

Today is the first day I have not had a migraine and I have not taken one pill all day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though I have not read the chapter I just needed to BOAST about God's faithness and goodness.

I still do not know how this season of our lives will play out but I do know that confession of HIS promises is how we make it through.

No matter what we face in life - when we keep our eyes focused on God - He will see us through. Some days are tougher to trust than others - but all days are to be considered with joy because of His plan.

I will prayerfully be back on track by next week and looking forward to visiting your blogs and again rejoicing with you as God works in each of your lives.

Considering Even The Most Difficult Of Days With JOY!!

  1. Cindy,
I am so glad that you posted to let us know what you have been going through, and to share with us how faithful God has been to you this week!
    Praise Him.
Jennifer said this week that the devil is there, roaring outside the doors of our thought closets, giving us thoughts and phrases, trying to make us take them in... trying to get us to tune him out so we aren't aware of how he works, and the distractions he uses...
Sounds like a lion was roaring at your house this week too... but praise always makes that lion flee! Praising God is the best way to muzzle his mouth!
Praising God with you my sister!

  6. God can be trusted no matter what the circumstances but it is always good when He chooses to demonstrate it in real, tangible ways for us.

I'm continuing to pray for your family...

  8. Thanks for letting us know what's up in your world, Cindy. I LOVE your God story - it made me think about my memory verse for Feb. It comes after God let the apostles out of jail; He told them to, "Go, stand in the temple courts, and tell the people the full measure of this new life" (Acts 5:20). Thanks for sharing your own full measure of this new life this week!

  10. This is wonderful, Cindy. I suffer from migraines also...some on stressful days but mostly in line with my cycle. It is very debilitating. Thank you for sharing your praises with us so we can praise and boast about God with you. Continue to trust as you are. Try not to stew and worry. We know what Matt. 6 says about not worrying about tomorrow as it has enough worries. This from a reformed or trying to be a reformed worrier. So I understand the temptation to worry and not trust.

I believe God has done these things, and released your migraines, to show you it's okay and will be okay with HIM.
    Love,
    Paula

I've been praying for you, and ohh migranes I use to get those I know how terrible they are. You are such an encouragment to me, of how to stand and be strong in your faith.

    Love you,
    Carol
