SEASONS

Hi Sweet Friends,

Seasons of life can catch us by surprise
And change life as we know it
And, in a moment

That is the type of season I am facing right now
I didn't really mean to quit blogging
I just haven't been here

I have missed you
You may not have even known I was gone
But I do thank the couple of friends
Who have checking in on me
And prayed during this time

I have finally decided to continue blogging
But I will start a new blog
That will pertain more to this season of life
And keep this blog for the more light hearted posts

With that said
I received two unexpected packaged in the mail on Monday

No matter when it arrives
Happy Mail - IS - Well, Just Happy

The first box I opened
Ended up being from a very dear friend
Who knew I was struggling
She wanted to lift my spirits
And she found a perfect way
A Great book, yogurt covered pretzels and a sweet card
Thank YOU
From the bottom, top and sides of my heart

The second box was from my TX friend
Who sent me a birthday gift
She knows that I LOVE Chip and Joanna
From Fixer Upper
So, since she lives in Waco where they have their brand new shop
She picked up a couple of really sweet items
And shipped them to me with tons of love and prayers

And because she knows my 'need' for beachy stuff
She found and sent this adorable
Beach themed pop up card
Is it not just the Cutest ever!!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you S~~~~

I love you Both
You know who you are

And Now
I shall take my head OUT of the sand
Where it has been for the past 7 1/2 weeks
And join the land of the Living Again

Have a wonderful rest of your week
Look for JOY in the everyday

  1. I have been missing my husband, who died 3 years ago on Nov. 10th. I wrote a post on it: http://poetrose24.blogspot.com/2015/11/remembering.html

I know that there will be down days and up days. That is life. The memories make it a down and up day. Both feelings can exist at the same time. You sometimes do not realize others care but they are there. One of my favorite sayings:
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

  4. It was so nice to see your Blog pop up on my screen this morning. I know this has been such a terrible time of struggles for you, but I also know you are a strong woman. Being strong does not mean you have to travel these rocky road alone.....you have a legion of compassionate people here in blogland, who are ready with open arms to provide a shoulder to cry on, arms to hug you, and pompoms to cheer you on! Let us help however we can.

    Warm hugs,
    Carol

  8. I'm so sorry you are struggling. I read back a few posts and saw your post about your son. He will be in my prayers. I pray too that he will get the help he needs. I hope you are feeling better after your hospital scare. I look forward to your new blog.
I'm not sure why the Lord allows us to walk hard and treacherous paths but He does only to bring us through to the other side. I have been where you are and can say that there will be a day when the darkness is a little brighter and you will continue to see He was with you in the night.
What a sweet gift from your friends. I wonder who the Waco friend is???

  9. I have missed you and wondered about you and prayed when I wondered. I need to know how you are physically and emotionally. I want to know about your new blog. Please keep me posted. Cindy, you are truly a treasure. I love the verse that says something about God singing over you. Let him sing to you in the night and give you peace in the day. Prayers, my friend.

  13. Glad to see you post and see you are doing better? Your new blog sounds interesting and a blog can be anything you want it to be. can be light and heavy...because that's how life is. We should share our lives are well as our homes and everything in between. The holidays are not something I look forward too...so many reasons for me to be sad and that's hard to do during this time cause everyone wants you to be happy.
